Overall a movie worth watching for those two lovely songs. Not being rich or influential, Ravi finds it hard to find a job and decides to approach his friend Prakash played by M. His friend Prakash offers him a place in his factory for a good salary, which Ravi happily accepts. Rafi won several appreciations for the rendition of this particular song.

Faced with this catastrophe, Ravi decides to leave his job with Prakash, and return to his village, but Aakash steps in and persuades him not to leave. It's a heart-conqueror all the same. This theme of a triangular love story runs across many Hindi movies, some of the popular ones being Andaz, Sangam, Ek baar muskurado, Daag etc.
